What is DATAI?

DATAI Network is a Web3 data layer: it aggregates blockchain activity across chains and refines it into standardised, machine-readable form so that AI models have something usable to read. The unglamorous half of the AI story, and the half most projects skip.

What DATAI actually does

Raw on-chain data is close to unusable. It arrives unstructured, formatted differently on every chain, and without the labels that would tell a model what any of it means. Most analytics products spend the majority of their engineering effort on that cleanup before they can build anything on top.

DATAI sells the cleanup. It aggregates across chains into one layer and refines the result into standardised formats, spanning DeFi, NFTs, real-world assets and GameFi. The output is described as AI-ready, which in practice means structured enough that a model can consume it without a bespoke pipeline in front.

The company was formed in 2020, with operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. That is a longer runway than most projects in this portfolio have.

Who actually buys this

The customer list is the most interesting thing about DATAI, because it is not retail. Its stated users include governments, tax authorities, funds and crypto accountants — buyers who need blockchain activity turned into evidence rather than into a dashboard.

That is a genuinely different business from most tokens on this record. Tax authorities do not churn when a market turns, and compliance spending tends to rise in exactly the conditions where speculative crypto revenue falls.

It also carries a different risk. Selling to public institutions means long procurement cycles, and revenue that depends on a handful of large contracts rather than many small ones. Concentration cuts both ways.

The token, and why the record is blank

At the time of writing, the DATAI token has not launched. The project describes it as central to the security and functioning of the platform, but it does not yet trade.

This is worth stating because it explains the empty return column on the club record rather than leaving it to be read as a bad sign. There is no token generation event to report because there has not been one.

It also means anyone quoting a valuation for DATAI is quoting a private-round figure, not a market. Those are not the same number and they rarely meet.

Where Unitypad stands

DATAI is one of the 64 positions on the public portfolio. The club’s own entry records a $2,500 position dated January 28, 2025, entered via Unitypad, with the TGE-return and P&L columns still empty. The canonical record is in the Unitypad docs.

The return and P&L columns are empty because the token has not launched. That is the record being accurate about an event that has not happened, not the record being incomplete.

Nothing here is advice, a price forecast, or a claim about what the project is worth today. It is what the public record says, dated, with the places the record is silent marked as silent.
